The Rancilio Silvia is the best selling machine in its class. Rancilio are predominantly a commercial coffee machine manufacturer and this is there home version. Only two home products but what a machine. The build quality is superb. All you need to do is hold the portafilter in your hand and you want this machine! it says quality and longevity all over. Many people considering purchasing a home espresso machine ask me which is best, the Gaggia Classic or the Rancilio Silvia V6, without a doubt the Silvia is better. Since Philips bought Gaggia in 2015 the Classic is no longer a contender.
