I purchased replacement filters and some other items. I had an issue with our Sage machine and the team were very helpful in assisting in sorting it.

The libra is a sturdy, solid, and beautifully designed piece of equipment. The grind quality excellent and operation very satisfying. I love it!

One issue specific to my set-up rather than the equipment is it struggles to appropriately fit 54mm portafilters and the weight output varies significantly due to poor positioning on the scale despite recalibration. However, I am procuring specific rounded dosing funnels that I hope will fix this issue. Given I'll probably upgrade to a 58mm machine at some point I'm not so worried.

It is £200 more than the Specialita which is significant. In my case, it's worth it as it will last many many years (decades?) but once calibrated properly the GBW function will deliver a vastly more streamlined workflow, plus my partner would never be willing to weigh beans!
